Who we are
District London is run by Chelpar Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 10412557). Our registered office is at 220b Battersea Park Road, London SW11 4ND. We run cafés and bars in Battersea Park, Nine Elms and Parsons Green, London, and we are responsible for any personal information you share with us through district.coffee. What we collect
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
• Private hire enquiries: your name, email, phone number, event date and the details you give us.
• Job applications: anything you send us by email, including your CV.
• Website use: your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit. This is collected through cookies and our website provider.
How we use it
• To send our newsletter, with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To reply to and manage hire enquiries, because we need to in order to arrange your booking.
• To review job applications, because this is a step you asked us to take before a possible job.
• To run, secure and improve the website, because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
We never sell your data.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with service providers that help us run District, such as Wix, which hosts this site and its forms, and our email and booking tools. They may only use it to do that work for us. Some of them may store data outside the UK. When they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
• Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
• Hire enquiries: up to 2 years.
• Job applications: up to 6 months, unless you join the team.
